Terms of Service
Overview
Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using Towncraft's Services.
By using our Services, whether as a guest, as a registered user, or otherwise, you agree that these Terms of Service will govern your relationship with Towncraft ("Towncraft"). These Terms of Service apply to all users of Towncraft and any respective Services.
If you do not completely agree to these Terms of Service, you must not use any of our Services.
1) Definitions
"Terms of Service" (or "Terms") refers to the set of rules and conditions outlined in this document that govern your relationship with Towncraft when using its Services.
"Service" (or "Services") refers to Towncraft and any other website, platform, content, and any other related products and services provided by Towncraft, including but not limited to:
- the Towncraft Minecraft server
- the Towncraft.us website and store
- each of Towncraft's servers on the network
- the Towncraft Discord server
"Rules and Guidelines" refers to rules and guidelines we have in place to protect users. More information about these rules can be found here.
"Staff" refers to all administrators and moderators apart of Towncraft.
2) Acceptance of Terms
By using any of Towncraft Services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Towncraft Services.
3) User Conduct and Content
a) General Conduct
You agree to abide by all rules and conditions, as well as to follow directions from staff members while using the Towncraft Services. Prohibited behavior, including activities that disrupt, damage, or impair the Services or infringe upon the rights of others, is strictly prohibited.
b) User Content
Any content you create, submit, or obtain while using the Towncraft Services ("User Content") remains your responsibility. By submitting User Content, you grant Towncraft a non-exclusive, transferable, sublicensable, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, create derivative works from, distribute, and display your User Content in connection with providing the Services.
4) Contributions and Content Licensing
a) Contributions
Contributions made to the Towncraft Services do not confer special privileges, ranks, or status and are not associated with Mojang. You agree to be of legal age and/or have consent from a parent or caregiver to make contributions. Contributions are non-refundable.
b) Content Licensing
You grant Towncraft perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sub-licenseable rights to use, copy, modify, adapt, distribute, prepare derivative works of, perform, or publicly display content you create, submit, or obtain while using the Services. You represent that you own or have the right to post your content without infringing the rights of any third party.
5) Termination and Suspension of Access
Towncraft reserves the right to restrict, eliminate, or block access to the Services for users found violating these Terms or the Towncraft Rules and Guidelines. Staff retain the right to take action without explanation or warning.
6) Prohibited Behavior
You agree not to use the Towncraft Services for, and not limited to, any illegal purpose, impersonate staff members, engage in inappropriate activities, interfere with security features, harass others, or engage in any other conduct prohibited by the staff or rules.

7) Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
a) No Warranties
The Towncraft Services are provided "as is" and "as available." Towncraft disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement of proprietary rights.
b) Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Towncraft will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, use, or goodwill arising from your use of the Services.
8) Changes to Terms of Service
Towncraft reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting or notification. Continued use of the Services after changes constitutes acceptance. If you disagree with changes, you must stop using the Services.
